Gallery: Wave of student protests all over Thailand

A week after the Constitutional Court dissolved the Future Forward Party, flash mobs continue to pop up at universities across the country. The government is yet to issue a reaction.

As of 1 March 2020, students from over 20 universities and high schools have arranged peaceful, brief demonstrations at their campuses. While the court’s ruling set of this chain reaction, the messages heard in these protests spilled from the long-simmering discontent of the youths.

Protesters turned up with placards expressing frustration towards the inept, corrupted government and the suppressive regime. Three-finger salute from the Hunger Games franchise becomes a symbol to protest against the dictatorship.

Plus Seven photographers documented some of the protests throughout this week. Here is our collection of the flash mobs.
